Since 2003, I have been helping organizations varied in size and industry improve their processes, workflows, and project management. Trained in LEAN/Six Sigma and extensive experience in Agile methodology, I walk clients and their teams through exercises designed to identify waste and eliminate unnecessary steps, thereby reducing cost through a reduction in valuable resources to create the deliverable.

As I lead the team to process efficiency, I simultaneously conduct an evaluation of the process itself, looking for ways to make it more effective.  Working both with the collective group and closely with individuals on the team in their respective roles, I lead team members through creation of a more efficient and more effective delivery process.

Areas Of Improvement

  • Identify waste.
    By conducting a waste walk, I instruct team members how to identify non-value-added activities, or “waste”
  • Assess roles and current staff.
    Through conducting individual interviews and observing interactions and team dynamic I can evaluate and recommend adjustments to roles and responsibilities.  The objective is to put people in areas where they will thrive and do their best work.
  • Technology improvement.
    I evaluate the current process, labor-intensive steps, and possible points of failure and recommend technology solutions that can help streamline team efforts and reduce time and cost associated with the current process.
  • Applying metrics.
    If you can measure it, you can improve it.  Many systems or vendors your company uses already often offer API access or data dumps which I will pull into an analytics platform to set a baseline and measure improvement.
  • Standardize.
    By creating a standard way of doing business, suddenly your staff becomes more portable, and onboarding & training is consistent from team to team.
